🚀 Your mission: Ensuring the efficient management of our international nutritional team and improving processes and team performance within Duynie.
Duynie is seeking a passionate Manager Nutrition to lead our international team with members from, among others, the Benelux, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Slovakia. Additionally, you will provide support to a wide range of other European countries where Duynie is active. You will work from our offices in the Netherlands but will also frequently be on-site abroad. The challenge in this structure lies in streamlining collaboration at a European level. As the Manager Nutrition, you will be the key link between the nutritional team and the rest of the organization. You will ensure that nutrition is recognized as an important added value for Duynie and will challenge country directors to follow the right technical paths.
In this broad role you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to improve processes and team performance;
- Leading an international team of nutritionists from various European countries;
- Streamlining and optimizing European processes such as roughage value calculations, matrix values, and the use of our software to enhance efficiency and effectiveness;
- Driving synergy within the departments so that all team members and colleagues from different countries actively collaborate on common goals;
- Actively developing and rolling out new feed concepts, with attention to commercial and qualitative support;
- Acting as the key link between the team and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration;
- Maintaining our high standard of reliability towards our customers;
- Monitoring industry trends and regulatory changes for compliance and innovation;
- Regularly providing updates and reports to senior management on team progress and process improvements.
Qu'est-ce que tu emportes avec toi?
We are looking for a Manager Nutrition with the following characteristics:
- A completed education in animal husbandry or a similar field;
- At least 4 years of experience in a managerial role;
- A passion for nutrition and sustainability;
- Attention to detail while also seeing the bigger picture;
- Reliability combined with a commercial mindset;
- Experience with ration calculation programs is a plus;
- Strong communication skills in English, preferably also in Dutch and German (or willingness to undergo training).
Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following competencies: empathetic, honest, commercial, resilient, and innovative.
